Joharra Harper: A Sapphic Fiction February Interview

So it turns out… Joharra Harper and I have quite a lot in common! We are both people of many passions – asexual activism, feminism, and books, among others – and we are both self-published authors. I was delighted when Joharra agreed to be interviewed – welcome, Joharra!

Tell us a little more about yourself - who are you and what do you do?

I'm Joharra Harper. I write YA Queer Fantasy with strong Female MC's.

How did you become an author?

I self published.

Who’s your favourite character that you’ve ever written?

Callista Dagon.

Do you ever experience writer’s block? If so, how do you overcome it?

I usually take a break or throw ideas with another writer.

What do you consider to be the hardest part of writing?

Marketing

And how about the most rewarding?

Hearing from readers.

What is one piece of advice you wish you had listened to, either in life or with regards to being an author?

I don’t know.

You’re putting together a party. Which characters from the Sapphic Fiction genre would you invite?

Skylar Prescott

Is there anyone you’d like to highlight, while you’re here?

How can people connect with you?

Finally a light-hearted one. What ice cream flavours and toppings would you put together in your ultimate sundae?
